We import, through Los Angles and New York, speciality fabrics from around
the world. These can be quite expensive and we do pass the added expense to the customer. You can identify these fabrics as the ones in the 1800 series
of numbers (ie. 1800 through 1899) You will note; items made with these
fabrics are $5.00 to $20.00 more expensive, depending on the amount of
fabric used. The metallic fabrics (1845,1874,1875) and the stretch vinyls
(1860,1867,1868, 1869 and 1871) are more delicate than the other fabrics and as such have a shorter life span. It's like the cliche', "the candle than
burns brighter, burns shorter." So true. Refer to the care instructions with
your order to maximize the life of the garment.
